Dom Boutique Hotel: A Stylish Stay in the Heart of Heraklion

The Arrival Experience

As soon as we arrived at the Dom Boutique Hotel, we were struck by the modern, stylish design of the building. The exterior of the hotel is sleek and contemporary, with clean lines and sharp angles that give it a distinctly modern feel. Inside, the design is equally impressive, with a minimalist aesthetic that is both calming and inviting. There is a great Mediterranean breakfast option in the mornings in the beautiful terrace that feels super secluded from the city.

The Rooms

The rooms at the Dom Boutique Hotel are just as impressive as the common areas. Our room was spacious, with plenty of room to move around and relax. The decor was simple and elegant, with clean lines and modern furnishings that gave the space a distinctly upscale feel. And of course, the hard floors were a welcome change from the usual carpeted hotel rooms we’re used to back in North America.

The Location

One of the best things about the Dom Boutique Hotel is its location. We arrived by Ferry from Santorini and was able to take a short 20 minute walk from the port to the hotel. Situated right in the heart of Heraklion, it’s just a short walk from some of the city’s most popular attractions, including the Heraklion Archaeological Museum and the Koules Fortress. It is also a stone’s throw away from the city square where we had some of our best meals and service in all of Greece. And if you’re looking to explore further afield, the hotel is just a short drive from some of Crete’s most beautiful beaches and scenic spots.

The Verdict

Overall, we were extremely impressed with the Dom Boutique Hotel. From its modern design to its central location, everything about this hotel is top-notch. The hard floors in the rooms are a unique touch that we love, and the friendly and attentive staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. And with so many activities and attractions in the area, there’s never a dull moment when you’re staying at the Dom Boutique Hotel in Heraklion. We highly recommend it!
